1. Voluntary Participation • I understand that volunteering with Qatar Museums (QM) is voluntary and unpaid and does not create an employment relationship. • I will follow the instructions of authorized QM staff and coordinators and carry out assigned duties responsibly. 2. Conduct & Commitment • I will treat everyone with respect, act professionally, represent QM positively, attend assigned shifts and training, arrive on time, and notify the coordinator if I cannot attend. • I will follow the required dress code, wear my QM volunteer uniform and badge when instructed, and respect Qatar’s culture, laws, and values. • I will not engage in harassment, discrimination, illegal activity, substance misuse, unauthorized public statements, misuse of QM property, or acceptance of money or gifts in exchange for volunteer services. 3. Safety, Fitness & Emergency Care • I will follow all safety procedures and emergency instructions. I understand that volunteer activities may involve inherent risks, including accidents or injuries, and I voluntarily accept those risks. • I confirm that I am fit to participate and authorize QM to arrange necessary emergency medical assistance when required. 4. Confidentiality & Responsible Communication • I will protect confidential, sensitive, and non-public information obtained through volunteering and will not share it without authorization. • I will refer media inquiries to authorized QM Communications staff and will not speak on behalf of QM or publish restricted, confidential, or inappropriate content. 5. Volunteer Data Privacy • I understand that QM may collect, store, use, and process my personal data for legitimate volunteer-program purposes, including registration, identity and eligibility verification, communication, scheduling, attendance, safety, reporting, recognition, and program administration. • I understand that access to my information should be limited to authorized personnel and approved service providers or partners where necessary for those purposes, subject to applicable privacy and data-protection requirements. • I confirm that the information I provide is accurate. I will keep my login credentials secure and promptly request corrections to inaccurate account information through the Volunteer Admin Team. • I understand that personal data may be retained only as required for program, operational, legal, or record-keeping purposes. Non-compliance • I understand that failure to follow QM rules or instructions may result in a verbal or written warning, suspension, parent or guardian notification where applicable, or removal from the volunteer program. Serious misconduct may result in immediate removal.
